“I have experienced the worst pain ever” – Says Nigerian woman who lost three children in one year

Friends of Ufuoma Peace, a Nigerian woman who recently lost her three children, are expressing deep concern for her safety, fearing she may be contemplating suicide.

Human rights activist Comrade Israel Joe took to social media to reach out to Ufuoma, urging her not to consider taking her life. In a Facebook post on Friday, September 29, 2023, he shared a chat with the bereaved woman, who resides in Ughelli, Delta State.

She revealed the immense pain of losing her three children within a year, compounded by family issues.

“Ufuoma Peace… We are disturbed by your chats of sųicíde early this morning. No matter what you are going through, taking your life isn’t an option. Pls reconsider your decision as such thoughts are not from God. Pls Ughelli check up on Peace,” wrote Mr. Joe.

Concerns escalate as Ufuoma’s friends report that she has not been answering phone calls.
