Man laments after DNA test showed he isn’t the biological father of his SS carrier son

A Nigerian man, Steven Opeyemi Moses, discovered through a DNA test that he is not the biological father of his child with sickle cell disease (SS genotype), despite his wife’s claims.

They appeared on a TV courtroom show last year to address the issue. Moses revealed that prior genotype tests showed he was AA and his wife AS, yet their son was diagnosed as SS.

After repeated tests confirmed his SS status, Moses opted for a DNA test, which revealed 0% probability of paternity. His wife acknowledged his concerns but denied any infidelity.

The judge ordered another DNA test between the wife and child, but she refused to participate.
