Primary school pupil bags 21m scholarship for scoring 100% in maths competition

Ugwoezuonu Ogechi Zara, a young mathematics prodigy, has been awarded a N21 million scholarship after achieving a perfect score of 100% in the primary category of the National Mathematics Competition organized by the Mathematics Association of Nigeria.

Alex Onyia, an education activist and CEO of Educare, announced Zara’s exceptional performance on Friday via X, expressing pride in her accomplishment.

Zara’s remarkable achievement has secured her a full six-year scholarship at Evergreen College in Enugu.
