13-year-old girl reportedly raped to death in Abuja

A 13-year-old girl has been reportedly raped to death allegedly by local miners at the Tipper Garage area in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory.

In a report published by The Punch, the council’s Secretary of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Ibrahim Ciroma, who disclosed the incident to Daily Trust through telephone on Sunday, said the girl, who went to hawk milk on Thursday, was declared missing, and that on Friday her corpse was found at the Tipper Garage area.

He said the corpse’s private parts were stained with blood and she was taken to the hospital where doctors confirmed that she was raped.
