Kids using pillows while sleeping, Right or Wrong ?

Using pillows for children, especially infants and toddlers, is generally not recommended. Babies, in particular, have delicate airways and underdeveloped neck muscles, which makes pillows a potential risk. Pillows can increase the chances of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) by obstructing their airways or causing them to overheat.

For toddlers and older children, pillows may be introduced, but it’s essential to ensure they are thin and firm to provide proper support. Overly soft or large pillows can strain their neck and back, leading to discomfort or improper posture.

In summary, avoid using pillows for young children, and when introducing them, ensure they are age-appropriate and provide adequate support for a healthy night’s sleep.
